Company Overview

India's protein and supplement market has a well-known trust problem: a flood of brands make claims about protein content and ingredient purity that the average buyer has no easy way to verify. HyugaLife (hyugalife.com) was built specifically to close that gap, sourcing directly from FSSAI-approved brands, cutting out third-party sellers, and publishing independent lab reports. Every product carries a QR authenticity code buyers can scan on delivery to check it against that same testing.

That authenticity promise isn't just a trust badge, it's doing real commercial work. In a category where genuineness is the actual differentiator, doubt about whether a product is real is one of the most common reasons a buyer hesitates at checkout in the first place, which matters directly for what a cart-recovery conversation needs to be equipped to handle.

Challenge: A Sale Window Where Every Hour of Hesitation Costs Revenue

HyugaLife ran its Freedom Sale from 7th to 15th August, an Independence Day campaign offering up to 70% off across proteins, vitamins, Ayurvedic products and superfoods, with additional cart-level freebies. Sale periods like this are exactly when cart abandonment is at its highest: shoppers browse more SKUs, compare more options, and hesitate longer before committing, all while the clock on the sale price keeps running.

That combination, a large catalog, a time-boxed discount and a buyer who's already shown intent by adding to cart, is a narrow window to recover revenue in. A cart left untouched for even a few hours risks the sale ending, the buyer moving on, or the moment of intent simply fading. HyugaLife needed a way to reach genuinely interested buyers fast, without pestering the ones who'd already decided not to buy.

Solution: Two Orchestrated Flows, Voice and WhatsApp Together

LimeChat built two distinct flows for the sale window, one reaching a broader base proactively, the other working a longer recovery sequence specifically for abandoned carts.

Broadcast, tied to the sale deadline. As part of the FREEDOM FLEX SALE push, a Voice AI call went out to a broadcast list, surfacing the offer directly rather than waiting for a customer to act first. Calls that connected were followed immediately by a WhatsApp message with a personal checkout link. Anyone who still hadn't converted an hour later got a follow-up WhatsApp nudge styled as a last-chance reminder, tying the message to the sale's actual close, and pairing brands the customer already trusted (MuscleBlaze, ON, GNC, Avvatar among them) with an additional discount code to push undecided customers over the line before the sale ended.

Abandoned Checkout, a multi-touch recovery sequence. This flow triggers the moment a user abandons a cart, and it isn't a single call, it's a sequence that runs across channels over several hours. It opens with a WhatsApp video message introducing HyugaLife's authenticity promise alongside a first-order discount, giving the customer a few hours to act on their own before the flow checks in. At every checkpoint, the flow checks whether the customer has actually completed the purchase; if not, it escalates, alternating between a discount-code WhatsApp nudge and an outbound voice call from HyugaLife's dedicated ABC voice agent, with delays ranging from thirty minutes to a couple of hours between touches. Every stage is gated on that same purchase check, so a customer who converts partway through the sequence simply exits it rather than continuing to be called or messaged.

Between the two, the job splits cleanly: broadcast creates urgency against the sale's actual deadline for a wider base of customers, while ABC runs a longer, more patient sequence specifically for shoppers who'd already shown intent by adding something to their cart.

Results

HyugaLife saw ₹23L in total orders, combining voice-direct and assistive revenue. Against the Voice AI spend for the campaign, that works out to a 51x return.

Conclusion

During a compressed, high-discount sale window, the highest-value action isn't reaching more people, it's reaching the right ones fast enough that their intent doesn't cool off. HyugaLife's ABC and broadcast Voice AI layers did exactly that: recovering carts before the sale closed, and reaching likely buyers before the window ran out, at a fraction of the revenue it drove back.
